Privacy Policy
The short version. If you join our waitlist, we use your information to tell you when Batch 1 opens, plus anything extra you opted into. We don't sell it, rent it or share it for anyone else's marketing. It's encrypted as soon as it reaches us, only the owner of Parallax Labs can decrypt it, and we delete the list within 90 days after launch. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Who we are
This website, parallaxlabsco.com, is run by Parallax Labs LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("Parallax Labs," "we," "us"). For any privacy question or request, email privacy@parallaxlabsco.com.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist, you give us:
- Your first name and email address. Required.
- Your mobile number. Optional. We keep it only if you also check the box agreeing to one launch text. If you type a number but don't check that box, we discard the number and never store it.
- Your choices: that you confirmed you're 18 or older and live in the US, whether you asked for build-update emails, and whether you agreed to a launch text.
When you submit the form, we also record, as proof of what you agreed to and to stop abuse:
- The date and time, the exact consent wording you saw, your IP address, the country it maps to, and your browser type. These are stored inside your encrypted record.
- A short-lived, one-way scrambled version of your IP address used to limit repeated submissions. These counters delete themselves within 48 hours.
We don't use advertising trackers, analytics cookies or tracking pixels on this site. The site itself sets no cookies.
How we use it
- Launch notice. One email when Batch 1 opens for orders.
- Build updates. Only if you checked that box: occasional emails about the product before launch, about twice a month. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- Launch text. Only if you checked that box: one automated text message when Batch 1 opens. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.
- Keeping the list honest. Blocking bots, duplicate signups and abuse of the form.
We don't use your information for anything else, and we won't start using it for a materially different purpose without first asking for your consent.
What we never do
- We don't sell, rent or trade your information.
- We don't share it with anyone for their own marketing.
- No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
Who helps us run this
A small number of service providers process information for us, only to do their job and under their own security and confidentiality terms:
- Cloudflare hosts this website, stores the encrypted list, and runs the Turnstile check that tells people from bots. Turnstile looks at signals from your browser to make that call; see Cloudflare's privacy policy.
- An email delivery service, when we send the launch email and any updates you asked for.
- A text-message provider, only if you agreed to the launch text.
We give these providers only what they need to send the message you asked for. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, such as a valid court order.
How we protect it
Your details are encrypted on our server the moment they arrive, using a key pair created for this list. The key that can unlock them is itself locked with a password that only the owner of Parallax Labs knows, and it is only ever unlocked inside the owner's own browser. Our hosting provider cannot read the list, and anyone who broke into the database would find only scrambled data. The private admin page also sits behind a separate sign-in.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach ever exposed your personal information, we would notify you as required by law, including within 30 days under Florida law.
How long we keep it
We delete the entire waitlist within 90 days after we send the last launch notice. If you ask us to delete your information sooner, we will. If you buy something later, that order is covered by the privacy terms shown at checkout, not this waitlist.
Your choices and rights
- Leave the list: use the unsubscribe link in any email, reply STOP to a text, or email us.
- See, correct or delete your information: email privacy@parallaxlabsco.com from the address you signed up with. We'll respond within 30 days and won't charge you.
We give these rights to everyone on the list, whatever state you live in.
Age and location
The waitlist is only for people 18 or older who live in the United States. This site is not directed to children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn we have, we delete it. This site is operated from the United States and is intended for US residents only.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
We don't track you across other websites or sell or share your information, so there is nothing for a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal to switch off. We honor both anyway.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. If a change would affect how we use information you've already given us, we'll ask for your consent first.
